Neve Campbell’s Back to Slash: Scream 7 Goes Old School

Neve Campbell is set to reprise her role as Sidney Prescott in Scream 7. It is said that this installment will focus heavily on Sidney's story, taking the franchise back to its roots. It’s great to see Campbell back in action!

Kevin Williamson, the original writer for the series, will direct this film, promising a fresh yet nostalgic take on the beloved franchise. The script is written by Guy Busick, known for his work on Ready or Not, and James Vanderbilt​. The plot is still under wraps, but the film is expected to explore Sidney's character deeply. And if the rumors of a Christmas setting are true, it would definitely add a unique twist to the horror elements.

So far, all we know about the cast is that Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega won’t be coming back, which opens up opportunities for new and returning characters to join the story.
