Slash-tastic News: "In a Violent Nature 2" Officially Announced

The critically acclaimed slasher "In a Violent Nature" is getting a sequel, announced through a surprise Letterboxd reveal. Thanks to IFC Films and Shudder, "In a Violent Nature 2" is officially happening. The original film, available on Digital/VOD platforms like Amazon and Fandango at Home, follows the vengeful spirit Johnny as he brutally hunts down those responsible for disturbing his grave. I was a big fan of the first one, so I'm really intrigued about the sequel. I wonder how they're going to up the ante on the kills in this one! Director Chris Nash, who also penned the original, is slated to write the sequel. Producers Peter Kuplowsky and Shannon Hanmer are back, along with Shudder’s Emily Gotto, Nicholas Lazo, and Samuel Zimmerman overseeing development. It's awesome that Kuplowsky is pumped about continuing Johnny's gruesome saga and gave props to IFC Films and Shudder for their ongoing support.
